Cherry Plum - Sapalta

The Sapalta Cherry Plum produces a 2.5 to 3 cm purple-skinned fruit with purple flesh. The skin has some tartness to it, but the fruit is firm and mildly sweet with some tartness. The clingstone fruit is good for canning, baking, preserves or juicing.
