Crabapple - Kerr

Kerr is a cross between the Dolgo crabapple and the Haralson apple released in 1952 by the Morden Research Institute. The crabapples are 5 to 7 cm in diameter, dark purple-red, firm, juicy, and sweet tart. They are great for jams, jellies, baking, and fresh eating. Ripens late September. Keeps well with proper storage. Fieblight resistant.
