Currant - Red Lake

Red Lake Currant is a high-yielding understory shrub that produces yellow blossoms in the spring and tart red berries in the summer. The berries can be used for jams, jellies, or wine-making. Leaves turn yellow in fall. Prefers well-draining, moist, clay loam soil. Can be used as a hedge.
