Amaranth - Hopi Red Dye

Amaranth is a beautifully red coloured plant that can be used in bouquets, to make home made dye, or even eaten. The flowers are edible, while large leaves can be cooked and eaten. The dried seeds are very nutritious and protein rich, and can be used as a gluten free grain.
