Boreal Beauty produces late season, dark-blue, elongated berries that have excellent flavour fresh, frozen or in preserves. The berries (1.9g) are heavier than Tundra or Indigo, but less than Blizzard or Beauty. Fast growing shrub with tall, bushy growth habit.

Haskaps, also known as honeyberries, are a hardy cross between a honeysuckle and a blueberry. Haskap are hardy to -47 ºC and their blossoms can tolerate a frost of -7 ºC without damage. Haskap berries take about 5-10 days after they turn colour to become fully ripe. Tolerant of wide range of pH, but prefer well draining soil (plant on hill or berm if poor draining soil). Requires pollinator to bear fruit.
