Mint - Spearmint

Spearmint is a useful culinary herb for Middle Eastern dishes like tabbouleh, or in iced tea, mint julep, or mint-apple jelly. It will spread by the roots, but it doesn’t always aggressively take out all other plants in its path. Plant it in a pot if you want it contained (bury it in the ground for the winter if you want to keep it for next year). Useful in food forests as a ground cover that will also deter rabbits and other pests.
