Honeywood is a large and productive saskatoon variety that has a showy display of white flowers in the spring before the leaves. It blooms 4 to 8 days later than most of the other varieties. The purple-blue berries it produces are large (16 mm) and have good flavour. The berries can be used for fresh eating, baking, preserves, dried, or frozen. Good for windrows or hedge planting.
