Strawberry - Cavendish

Cavendish is a mid-season, June-bearing strawberry variety hailing from Nova Scotia that has been bred for winter hardiness and firm, large, cherry-red fruit. High yielding over a long growing season. Excellent flavour. Suitable for fresh use, preserves, baking and freezing. Highly resistant to red stele and some resistance to Verticillium wilt.
