Strawberry - Honeoye

The Honeoye strawberry is a hardy variety developed at Cornell’s Geneva Research Station in 1979. These plants are an early-midseason strawberry variety that produce one large crop over a 3-4 week period in the spring, with vigorous runners that tend to grow after the ripening of berries. Berries can be eaten fresh, frozen, for baking, or preserves.
